Cat. #00151453: CHARLTON HESTON

Scarce authentic-- yes, all that through-the-mail stuff was secretarially signed-- and unusually early 7x9-inch black and white film still portrait as aging quarterback Ron “Cat” Catlan, attempting to fool Father Time and lead his team to another championship after winning the title years earlier, in Number One (1969), boldly signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint pen in the period of the film. In good condition, with a few minor handling dings. Rugged leading man and gun rights activist Charlton Heston won an Oscar for Orson Welles' Touch of Evil (1958). Other highlights of his career include The Ten Commandments (1956), The Big Country (1958), Ben-Hur (1959), El Cid (1961), and sci-fi's Planet of the Apes (1968).
